Order Process

Payments

While we work hard to minimise disruption, Florist Old Ford cannot accept liability for delivery delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Changes and Cancellations

If you wish to make changes to your order or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. We are able to accommodate amendments or cancellations before the flowers are prepared or dispatched. Once your order has been processed for delivery or fulfilled, changes and cancellations may not be possible.

To request a change or cancellation of your online order, you must notify Florist Old Ford in writing or by phone during business hours, quoting your order number and delivery details. Refunds for successful cancellations will normally be processed to the original payment card or account within 3–7 working days, although this may vary depending on your payment provider.

If, due to the perishable nature of flowers, you attempt to cancel after your order has been prepared or dispatched, we may not be able to offer a full refund. In cases where cancellation is not feasible, refunds or credits may be considered at our sole discretion and on a goodwill basis.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion for reasons including, but not limited to, items being unavailable, incorrect pricing, suspected fraudulent activity, or if not deliverable to the address supplied. If your order is refused or cancelled, you will be notified and any payment made will be refunded promptly.

Returns and Complaints

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, returns are generally not accepted after delivery, unless the goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described. If you are not entirely satisfied with the flowers received, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery, providing photographic evidence if you believe the product was damaged or substandard.

All complaints regarding quality or service should be raised within 48 hours of delivery for investigation and resolution. Remedies may include replacement, partial refund, or full refund where appropriate and at our discretion.

Customer Responsibilities

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate information at all stages of the order process. This includes the correct spelling of names, addresses, and any personal note to accompany the flowers. If insufficient, incorrect, or misleading information is provided, we are not liable for any damages, failed deliveries, or customer dissatisfaction arising from such errors.

Florist Old Ford accepts no liability for issues arising from the recipient’s failure to care for fresh flowers after delivery, nor for delays or damages once the item has been successfully delivered in accordance with your instructions.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Florist Old Ford shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or connected to the use of our website or the purchase and delivery of any of our products—including, but not limited to, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or emotional distress. Our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with these Terms shall be limited to the price paid for the specific order in dispute.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
